About New Course

The oldest 'new' course in the world, the second course at the Home of Golf was built by the Keeper of the Green Tom Morris in 1895 and it was imaginatively named to differentiate from its famous neighbour. Boasting undulating fairways and challenging greens, the New Course is a classic test of Links golf.

About Saint Andrews Links

Welcome to St Andrews Links, the Home of Golf. With seven golf courses, we are the largest public golf complex in Europe. Offering 3 Clubhouses to meet the needs of our guests over 7 courses. The Links Clubhouse offers fantastic facilities for golfers playing the Old, New and Jubilee Courses including lockers, showers and drying facilities. Upstairs the Swilcan Restaurant provides stunning panoramic views over the Old Course. With its famous Tom Morris cocktail, the restaurant offers everything from fish and chips to a post-round light bite. The roof garden is a popular scenic spot for photographs and the restaurant is a popular venue for private dining and functions. As popular as the course itself, The Castle Course Clubhouse is well worth a visit, even if just to drink in the stunning views over St Andrews Bay. With a circular glass front and terrace, alfresco dining is available during the warmer months. Private functions and weddings are available from Nov-Feb when the course is closed meaning this fantastic space is exclusively yours. A constant hub of activity, the Eden Clubhouse offers a friendly and inviting atmosphere for golfers playing the Eden, Strathtyrum and Balgove Courses. The perfect venue for a relaxed family lunch or some fresh home baking, the Eden Clubhouse also hosts popular outdoor barbeques during the Summer.
