Practice Area: Chipping green and putting green was excellent. They were consistent with the on course areas. The lack of a driving range let it down-nets!

Clubhouse: A very good atmosphere, well stocked with a variety of both alcoholic and soft drins. Good menu, something for most people.

About The Course

One of the finest Championship Links courses in Britain and currently ranked 5th best course in Wales, Ashburnham has hosted prestigious professional and amateur Championships, including two British PGA Championships and the 1976 Martini International Tournament. Chosen as a qualifying venue for the 2014 Seniors Open Championship, this event is one in a long line of important events held here since the early 1900s when Harry Vardon, the six time British Open Champion said The course I like best in Wales is Ashburnham.
