Clubhouse Food & Beverage:
I've visited Ashburnham in the summer of 2016 and the food was excellent. However, on my most recent visit I felt the experience was not as enjoyable. This was mainly down to the service n the morning for our bacon roll. This improved in the afternoon when we had a meal. I had a burger which was tasty and reasonably priced

Golf Shop:
The Pro Shop is quite small and narrow and is mainly stocked with accessories and golf clothing. The set up is typical of a traditional members club shop which nowadays doesn't appear to stock a range of equipment. The service received at the shop was warm and friendly

Food & Beverage Staff:
Overall the service at the clubhouse is good. Staff are generally warm and friendly and typical of a traditional welsh clubhouse. The young lady who served us after our game of golf was very attentive

poor
Bunkers:
The bunkers are very disappointing and are in need of a refurb. Whilst at a links course you accept that the definition is in keeping with the surrounding area they still need to be kept tidy. There were far too many animal burrows and disrepair in or around the bunkers . Having said that the sand depth was consistent throughout the course

Venue reply:
Thank you for your feedback on the bunkers. We agree that they are in need of renovation and we have started a 3 year project to renovate all of our bunkers. Hopefully you will see a large improvement in these if you return to Ashburnham.

great
Greens:
The Greens at Ashburnham are excellent. The speed of the greens are quick, particularly in the height of summer, and I had no deviations on any putts over the full 18 holes

Golf Course:
Ashburnham is a good test of golf and very enjoyable. There are several memorable holes, particularly on the turn and up to the 15th where a couple of Par 5's are a great links challenge. I would definitely recommend golfers of all abilities to play this course
